D'arcy's page
D'arcy is our first Welsh Springer Spaniel and has been a delight from the moment we first set eyes on him. He has certainly done us proud - first at obedience where he charmed absolutely everyone and passed his Ideal Dogs Test easily, then in the show ring winning several In Group awards and then siring our first litter, the Maesgwyn Precious Gems. He has beautiful movement and an elegance that, we believe, the breed is starting to lose. D'arcy now comes out for the occasional veterans class and holds his own against much younger dogs.
